Leading the Way In Health and Safety Excellence

Our dedication to health and safety is ingrained in every aspect of our operations. Here’s how we ensure the utmost safety for our team and partners:

Our strong safety culture, combined with dedicated team training, ensures that every member is equipped to uphold safety standards after all our people are our biggest asset.  Compliance with legislation is important, but we strive to go beyond and our directors Clayton and Blake, foster this commitment within the team. We have established robust and effective processes supported by policies that consistently identify and address risks, ensuring a safe and secure work environment for all.

We know we are on the right track but there are ALWAYS ways to improve. We conduct regular internal site audits and participate in external audits and pre-qualifications to ensure the direction is continuous improvement for the safety and wellbeing of our team.

SBL adopts environmental management principles that are broadly in line with ISO 14001:2015, Environmental Management Systems.

We specifically look to

Maximise Efficiency – Reduce waste through effective purchasing methods and operations, including reducing the misuse of resources (materials, energy, water), time, and money.

Minimise Harm – Minimise harm to individuals, the community, and the environment.

To maximise efficiency and minimize harm, the following actions are followed.

  • Proactively identify and manage the environmental impact of their work in line with LAWNNE environmental principles (Land, Air, Water, Waste, Noise, Energy)
  • Comply with all relevant environmental legislation, appropriate industry guidelines and standards, customers, and regulatory agency requirements.
  • Actively promote and foster a culture of sustainability and environmental protection.
  • Consult with all parties affected by the works, ensuring subcontractors & suppliers share our sustainability culture.
  • Use products that minimise the impact on the environment.
  • Ensure spill control measures are in place before commencing work.
  • Have systems and procedures in place to reuse, repurpose, recycle, and reduce waste making efficient use of all resources.

“We all must continually seek ways to improve our practices for the betterment of the environment and community we live in.”
